There seems to be a sort of effect that is given off when filmed with a poor vhs camera, the colours of the scenes struggle to push through the black and white, this creates a very eery and spooky feel even when the directors aren't trying, the part where the characters explore the house they try to camp in is very jumpy and scary, but i feel without this bland grey colour it would simply not as effective

"you would think poor video and sound quality would bring the film down, it just makes it more scary!"
